And it is one of the very own interests of the company to protect the gained know-how. Since evaporation and distillation systems represent the core competence of GEA Wiegand, the main focus of research is on optimizing these units.
The arrangement of evaporation and alcohol distillation plants which has now been protected by the Russian patents once again shows the special position of GEA Wiegand in the field of energy-efficient design of process plants, with priority to energy integration.
