December 2007 – Together with the affiliated company GEA Tuchenhagen Japan Ltd., GEA Wiegand successfully presented the latest innovations in the field of evaporation systems and distillation.
The ASIABEV is the most important exhibition for the beverage industry in Japan and attracts thousands of visitors every year. During the three exhibition days, many interesting discussions with Japanese customers were possible.
The customers were particularly interested in the MVR technology by GEA Wiegand (mechanical vapor recompression) which in the Japanese beverage industry still is unknown to a large extent. The application of this technology opens considerable energy saving potentials which allow considerable cost savings and contribution to environmental protection.
