September 2006 – Four months after start of the installation, the contours
of the new bioethanol plant for ENVIRAL in the Slovak Republic have become
clearly visible. The GEA Wiegand installation team is working in all areas of
the plant at full stretch. The evaporators and columns have been installed
inside the buildings, and all pumps have been adjusted on the foundations. At
the moment, the steel structure for installation of the platforms and stairs
and the vapour ducts of the evaporators are being installed.
After
completion the plant will be producing 380,000 l/day of bioethanol. The
commissioning is scheduled for mid 2007.
