March 2006 - After a few months’ time, GEA Wiegand has successfully met the
first milestones for the bioethanol plant ordered by ENVIRAL. After four months
all essential documentation has already been prepared for the currently largest
bioethanol plant under construction in Europe. Orders for the main components
of the milling, fermentation, distillation and drying areas have been placed
with qualified suppliers, and the manufacture at the GEA Wiegand workshop has
been started. The persons mainly responsible for the project at ENVIRAL and GEA
Wiegand are confident that the start of the installation scheduled for June
2006 can take place on time.
