December 2005 – Just about six months have passed since the new GEA Wiegand
compact evaporator of the EVA series was introduced, and already the first
contract for this system has been awarded. The customer is a reputable German
automobile manufacturer, for whom the compact evaporator is an important
component in his future waste water disposal concept.
The compact
evaporation technology offered by GEA Wiegand represents a new range of
products for a series of applications for zero-discharge production and
complete product recycling.
Depending on the specific process concept, EVA will be self-sufficient or
operated by means of external energy. The final product can either be a high
concentrate, a salt or a dry substance. In combination with membrane
filtration, high-purity products can be produced.
GEA Wiegand offers
compact evaporators for capacities starting from 100 l/hr. The standard design
is based on the material stainless steel and a fully-automated control system.
