April 2004 – Already 4 months after placing of the order the world-wide
largest falling film evaporation plant for the Starch industry is about to be
delivered.
A large transport will be travelling for several nights from the
manufacturing workshop in Beckum, Westphalia to Sünching in Bavaria. Due to the
plant dimensions of up to 6,400 mm the transport itinerary will be 30 % longer
than the normal itinerary. The plant of more than 150 tonnes weight must be
transported in 5 individual units and will be assembled on the site of
erection. In mid-May, a 1,000 tonnes crane will lift the first one of the two
evaporators into the building. The second evaporator will follow in September.
