August 2007 – Kazakhstan's most important producer of neutral alcohol heavily invests in environmental protection measures. As a result, they will assume the leading role for all companies of the former Russian Federation. The principal item of the investment is a large GEA Wiegand falling film evaporation plant with an inlet rate of 80 tons/h of wheat stillage. The plant is heated by vapor coming from three driers.
In this way, the environmental regulations with regard to waste water treatment are fulfilled, moreover, the exhaust air conditions of the driers are optimized simultaneously, and a high-quality protein-containing feedstuff is produced. GEA Wiegand delivers the evaporation plant and the driers complete with control system, they coordinate the complete process chain from decantation, evaporation, drying, conveying and cooling to pelletizing of the feedstuff.
