Once again a customer has decided in favour of a single-effect GEA Wiegand evaporation plant heated by a mechanical vapour recompressor, as GEA Wiegand has offered the best technological and economical concept. Before the contract was awarded, GEA Wiegand carried out comprehensive test series in a remote-controlled fully-automated evaporation plant, proving that the chosen low-temperature concept ensures longest possible operating periods for the evaporator. It is this aspect that makes the plant particularly cost-effective.
GEA Wiegand will deliver a turnkey plant for a capacity of 9tonnes/hr, including measuring and control equipment, installation and commissioning.
